Both a reference book and recipe book, Composing the Cheese Plate walks you through the different types of cheeses, how to pick and present them, and will even show you the best way to slice cheese so you don't end up with an awkward rhombus. The recipes include pairings for different cheeses ranging from sweet and savory in order to bring the best notes out of the cheese. You'll learn how to make Brown Sugar Fudge, Blood Orange Fennel chips, and even your own mustard. While they play well with cheese, many of the recipes can be used on their own or incorporated into other dishes. 

This is the book that taught me how to make the caramel corn which is the highest recommendation I can give.
