New Mexico Red Chile Flakes

These New Mexico Chiles are one of the chiles developed at New Mexico State University with the Franzoy family and are a part of the Big Jim chile family. They have a mild heat with a slight fruity flavor. Use as you would any crushed red pepper flakes, by frying in oil. sprinkling on pastas, pizzas, and vegetables, or infusing honey.
