Where are you located?
We are located in the OneC1ty shopping area just off Charlotte and 31st. We are in the same building as TOA, Pastaria and Sump Coffee. Our store entrance is located towards the back of the building. Walk past Sump Coffee and follow the bocce ball court. Our store will be on the right hand side. On our home page, you can find photos of our storefront and the view from our storefront to help guide you.
If you parked in the garage, take the elevator to level 1. Walk through the lobby towards TOA and Pastaria's 2nd entrance. Follow the hallway to the right of Sump Coffee and follow our signs.
You will not be able to drive up directly to out storefront. GPS directions may direct you 1st to a parking area or to our general building. Please use our directions to continue on to our location.
Is there parking available?
Yes. There are 3 options for parking - the lot off of 31st, street parking around One C1ty, and the 8 City Parking Garage. The parking is free for 2 hours. You must register your vehicle but you do not need to enter payment information for free parking. You can use the QR codes to register your vehicle - they are on parking signs throughout the parking areas and in the elevators. We also have the QR codes in our shop, if you do not have internet access in the garage.
When can I expect my order?
We are a small company and hand pack our items, the majority once the order comes in. Orders are generally processed between 3 - 5 business days. This does not include the postal shipping time.
USPS is still experiencing delays. Tracking numbers may be not updated, though your order is moving to its final destination.
Where is my order?
You will receive a tracking number once your order has shipped. It may take up to 24 hours for the tracking number to update, though your order is moving toward its final destination. If your tracking number says that your package has been delivered but you still have not received it, please contact USPS. They will have more immediate information on the location of your package. In our experience, the packages are usually delivered to a neighbor and will make it to the correct person in a few days.
Do you ship internationally?
We ship throughout the United States and Canada. International customers are responsible for any customs, duties, and taxes on their order. Shipping is carried out by USPS and Canada Post. Suraj Spices & Teas is not responsible if your order is held at the border. It is the customer's responsibility to know what is and is not allowed into Canada. Suraj Spices & Teas is not responsible for any taxes, custom fees, or duties on your order. If you have questions about your order, please email us at info@surajpspicesteas.com.
How are the spices and teas sold?
Our spices, teas, and dry goods are available both in prepacked containers or by weight. Items ordered by weight are packed into one bulk bag unless otherwise specified on your order. For instance, if you order 5 ounces of peppercorns, you will receive one bag with 5 ounces of peppercorns inside. If you would like individual 1 oz bags, please add a note to your order at check out.
Do you have (spice/tea/dry good)?
We love discovering new spices and teas. If you are looking for a specific item that we do not currently have, we would love to source it for you. Because our store front is small, we are bringing in our inventory in waves so we are eager to hear what people would like to have in stock.
Do you make custom blends/gift basket?
Yes! We would be happy to make a custom blend or gift for your person, wedding, event, life. Contact us with what you are looking for and we can work out creating a blend and packaging specially for you.
Do your products contain nuts, dairy, etc.?
Our blends will list any major allergens in its ingredient list on each product page. We make our house blends in a shared facility so while we do our best to avoid cross contamination, they are made in a facility that processes dairy, eggs, wheat, seafood, nuts, peanuts, and sesame seeds. We carry in our store a variety of nuts and blends made with nuts as well as sesame seeds and fish products. If you have more specific questions about allergens, please email us for more information, though we will always recommend erring on the side of safety for anyone one with these allergies.
What is your return policy?
If you are not 100% satisfied with your product, please contact us immediately at info@surajspicesteas.com. Returns and exchanges can be made 14 days after product has been received, minus the shipping charges. The product must be returned to us in original packing. Special orders cannot be returned, and we cannot accept food items at this time.
